Cathy Bonadio
Controller
When money matters...

 

Cathy came to Premier Cable Communications with vast experience for the position. She was the Controller/Administrative manager for a large corporation which was a subsidiary of Johnson Worldwide Associates. Cathy has expertise in all aspects of cost/general accounting and inter-company reporting, including financial reporting, balance sheet and Profit/Loss analysis and the preparation of year-end schedules. In addition to the administration of personnel and benefits, she has a skill for organizational planning and the development and implementation of procedures, systems and controls. She was educated in Rennes, France, and is multi-lingual with fluency in English, French, and Spanish.

 
1990 - 1994 Cathy coordinated, directed and executed all administrative and inter-company financial/accounting functions necessary to maintain profitability and regulatory compliance. She supervised bookkeeping, collections and customer service operations, negotiated all purchasing contracts, streamlined order-processing procedures and re-organized and improved systems for order tracking, filing and sales/customer reporting. Cathy designed an inventory control system with scheduled physical inventories and bi-annual costing to reduce shortage and maintenance costs, and facilitate improved purchasing strategies for efficient material flow. Cathy was instrumental in the successful startup of the Sales and Distribution Center in Seattle.

In addition to her controller responsibilities, Cathy was Personnel Director, developing and implementing all personnel policies. She oversaw the administration of benefits and claims, conducted performance evaluations and salary reviews, and helped develop an effective retention program.

  
1981 - 1990 Cathy was the Accounting and Systems Manager for a Fort Lauderdale-based firm, performing all general accounting services. She was instrumental in improving personnel management policies to increase productivity and performance.
  
1975 - 1981 As the office manager for an orthopedics firm, Cathy was responsible for standard medical office operation management and for providing responsive patient assistance. She implemented a medical software system for direct billing and consolidated and managed payroll, insurance, billing and accounts payable operations.
