James J. Walsh, III Director of Corporate Development
When credentials count...
   
After graduating from Northeastern University in Boston, MA with a BS in Finance and a BS in Economics, James joined Premier Cable Communications in July of 1996.  With his finance and business education in place, it was time to learn the field operations.   James started from the ground floor to learn all aspects of the industry.  His first position was on
an underground MDU Construction crew at our MediaOne rebuild in Atlanta, GA.

After a short time on the job, James was promoted to underground crew leader status and transferred to our Time Warner rebuild in St Petersburg, Florida.  In St Petersburg, James started Premier Cable’s specialized Directional Boring division.

After three months of running Directional Bore machines, it was time for another transfer and promotion.  At this time James transferred to our Time Warner rebuild in Raleigh, North Carolina.  He was promoted to his second management position as Underground Coordinator.  James was in this position for one year, where he successfully expanded the project from two underground crews to twenty-four.

In April of 1998, James transferred to our Time Warner rebuild in Greensboro, NC where he was further promoted to Assistant Project Manager.  In Greensboro, James was introduced to Aerial Construction, MDU Splicing and Upgrade Splicing.  After training for five months, James was qualified to assume the responsibilities of Project Manager.

In March of 1999, James accepted a transfer to the Corporate Office in West Palm Beach, Florida, where his now diverse knowledge could best be capitalized upon.   He was promoted to the position he currently holds. His new role includes duties that will permit the company to more closely monitor and enforce its safety and quality control programs.  James will be instrumental in the development of new projects on a nationwide basis.

James is married and resides in West Palm Beach, Florida where he presently heads our Corporate Development.  Although James is an avid fan of all sports, his heart belongs under the Golden Dome of Notre Dame football.
